people talk about it all the time but I honestly can;t figure a descent answer to what "happy hour" means??…..what is it….and what goes on during happy hour?….help me out here guys. I don't want to sounds illiterate. Thanks.
obviously you are old enough to drink. it is bewteen 4-7 PM at the bar and the drinks are cheaper.. lol
Well its usually a scheduled time at most bars & resturnats that serve discounted drinks and appitizers. so my local bar has a happy hour from 4-7pm m-f and its 1/2 all appitizers and 2.00 off draft beer and 3.00 off mixed drinks! so thats just an idea! a happy hour of cheap drinking & eating!
It is usually when bars have drink specials for earlier in the evening.
What goes on? Cheapskates get their drink on, lol.

Well, happy hour is the time when alot of people go out and socially drink. Becasue it is usually around mid day and people need a drink. it is also known as happy hour because drinks are cheaper and that makes people happy.
Happy Hour is usually a time period after a typical worker's shift. so after a long day at the office, why not go to the bar, have a few drinks and become 'happy.' always works for me
