What do you think of the clothing retailer Banana Republic?

My dad wears alot of banana republic and has suggested that I do too but I'm only 14. Do you think a 14 year old would look good in BR stuff?

Well they are very conservative(that's probably why your dad wants you to shop there). I think their clothes are very cute for people just getting out of college and ready to start their life. But for a 14 year old? Not quite sure. But hey, look at Blair from Gossip Girl, she dresses sophisticated for her age. And I'm pretty sure none of your friends will be wearing the clothes.

Yes, you should be able to find classic pieces for your wardrobe.
Pieces that are not trendy.

Cool safari looks, or classic blank pants that will match everything. Its nice to have well made, quality clothing that won't go out of style in two months. (Leave the trendy for inexpensive forever 21 etc.)

You dad has good taste.

I thought the same thing as my mother dragged me into the store. It's a tad but older but if you look there are a ton of cute youthful things. I got this gorgeous flowy shirt that totally looks like it was from some expensive teen store. Its super cool once you get past the older lady clothes.

I love Banana Republic! I have a pair of jeans from there that I love, and my mom shops there and has found some really cute things! I am 14 and I wear there clothes so I am sure you can too!
