Will Colin Campbell suspend Avery for punching Varlamov in the mask near the end of the game?

I know it was only a love tap, but he suspended Carcillo, citing that Carcillo was a repeat offender. Camalleri was let off the hook for doing the same thing. What will happen to Sean, who is a repeat offender as well?

At least Varlamov didn't flop to the ice immediately. Eh, rookies. What do they know?

I don't think he should be any more than Carcillo deserved it (the 2 and 10 was appropriate), but Campbell has now set the precedent.

Avery is a bum. I say give him one game.

Hockey is a physical sport, but to let Lucic get away with just a 1 game suspension and if Avery gets away with his latest drama queen act, I won't be a happy camper.

If Lucic deserved a suspension, Avery does too. I doubt it's going to happen though because Campbell is way too inconsistent.

Avery should have gotten a suspension for what he did in Game 1 if anything. Now, he should still get one for what he did tonight. he has been nothing but problems to the Caps goalies this series.

Honestly, I don't have clue one about what Campbell does with Avery. if his 'hit' on the Washington goaltender is a one-game suspension, they might want to go ahead expand rosters to 30 players.

Obviously, Avery is irate at goalies in general. But just because he can't score, doesn't mean he has to take it out on the goalies.
