I'm friends with lots of gay men and all of them seems to idolize Judy Garland and when I asked why they seem not to know. They just said that its the way it is. but I'm curious, does anyone out there knows whats the answer?

Judy Garland had a tortured and troubled life, and ultimately died prematurely from substance abuse. I think some gay individuals may relate to her because they are having a difficult life also.
This is a really good question!!! I am gay and Judy is a Gay Icon so are CHER JUdy DAVIS as are many others I personally am not crazy for her and I think it is a generational thing i love Angelina Jolie she makes me giggle!!
