How do I know who the speaker is in "In Westminster Abbey?" Is it something you just read into?

I'm stuck on trying to figure out who the speaker is and the tone of the poem. please help!

I think the speaker is a selfish, self-centred, racist, upper middle class woman. she is talking to (or rather talking at) God. asking him to bomb the Germans but spare herself. she wants the British Empire kept safe, especially the white people. for all that she wants the Nation protected, it is her house in particular she is interested in. she is only interested in her own well being and doesnt even have time to wait for Gods answer before rushing off for lunch.

How do I know who the speaker is in "In Westminster Abbey?" Is it something you just read into?
