Today's Remember when "mystery photo" shows six members of a local service club getting their legs limbered up for an upcoming event in November 1987. What was the event, and who were those in the photo? Last week's Remember when "mystery photo" showed Carbona apricot grower Tony Traina with a pile of apricots spread on the ground in 1960. The 'cots were dumped after cannery workers in Northern went on strike, closing all food-processing firms. By the time the strike was over, many apricots were too ripe to send to the canneries.
