Will Barton scored 16 points to lead the Tigers (7-1), who are 1-2 in theJimmy V and who have lost four straight against Kansas, including the 2008national championship game.

VALPARAISO, Ind. (AP)—E’Twaun Moore scored 23 points to help theBoilermakers beat the Crusaders.

JaJuan Johnson had 13 points, eight rebounds and four blocks, Kelsey Barlowscored 13 points and Lewis Jackson added 11 points, four assists and four stealsfor the Boilermakers (8-1), who won their third straight.

It was Purdue’s first game without John Hart. the team’s No. 3 scorer isexpected to miss at least a month with a stress fracture in his right foot.

Purdue led 30-28 at halftime before shooting 57 percent from the field afterthe break.

Brandon Wood scored 20 points for Valparaiso (6-3), but he had just two inthe second half. Wood made 7 of 11 shots from the field, but his teammates madejust 13 of 41.

The Crusaders had averaged 76 points per game, but they shot 39 percent hadcommitted 16 turnovers.
