What type of yoga should a beginner start with?

I'm a 25 year old female and looking to relieve stress and find balance, while tone and strengthen my body. There are SO many different types of yoga out there – which is best for a newbie?

Aha, im a 14 year old female and i do yoga all the time! (well, more like contortion and bendy stuff… but it could work for you too.)
Every morning i do the splits with both legs, the backbend and bend my wrists as a warm up. I then try to improve my backbend by doing it enough to rest my head on my feet, my chest on the ground. I practise handstands on a wall to strengthen my arms and attampt to balance in handstand… which i can't do yet, but practise makes perfect, right? :)
In case you were wondering, anyone can do the splits, however i think box splits is harder though as i cant do it! Stretch down and touch your toes everyday. I personally learnt the splits by attampting to go straight into it- 30 mins of this and in 2 days i could just about do it. Of course, i did it every day- now i can practically fall into them.

If you don't feel like doing the splits or backbend yet (however they are VERY cool!) then here are some links.

Here's is a link for working your abs: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dsGpP5HkL…

And a link for basic moves: http://current.com/items/89906205/basic_…

I hope i've helped, alot!!! (choose me as best answer!) :)
