STRESS-busting yoga classes are starting this month in Thurmaston.
Charnwood Borough Council is running fitness yoga sessions which are designed to strengthen and tone the body as well as increase flexibility and muscle control.
The classes will be held at the Elizabeth Park Sports and Community Centre, Checkland Road, Thurmaston, between 12pm and 1pm from November 19 until January 11. each session costs 2.50.
Councillor Peter Lewis, Charnwood Borough Councils cabinet member for leisure and culture, said: Yoga is an ancient art form which has been used for centuries to help people maintain a healthy body and mind.
Our classes are designed for people of all levels and are perfect for helping banish the stresses and strains of busy lives.
