Bartlett’s annual Halloween Carnival and Costume Contest hosted at Singleton Community Center attracted more than 1,500 guests filtering through the center’s gymnasium for Halloween thrills Oct. 22.
Ghouls and goblins of all ages joined the seasonal festivities. The excitement included games, candy, face painting and the ever-so popular annual costume contest.
Costume contest winners by age category were:
Ages 0-3: First place — “Thing 2,” Jeremiah Danielson; second place — “Ghost Bride,” Randi Sandefer; third place — “Harley Boy,” Lane Tate.
Ages 4-6: First place — “I Dream of Jeanie,” Cassidy Johnson; second place — “Dog Food Puppy,” Raquel Flores; third place — “Mario,” Nicholas Houston.
Ages 7-9: First place — “Mummy,” Virginia Lewis; second place — “Geisha Girl,” Allison Mims; third place — “Coca Cola Can,” Daniel Flores.
Ages 10-12: First place — “Amelia Earhart,” Shayna Johnson; second place — “Skeleton in a Box,” Peyton Mertz; third place — “Jason,” Cedrick Moss.
Adults: First place — “Sugar Skull,” Krystal Robins; second place — “Geisha Momma,” Melanie Johnson; third place — “Gangster Girl,” Madison Roberts.
